60 Second Travel Chat With Anglotopia’s Jonathan Thomas
American Jonathan Thomas became interested with all things British at the early age of eight. Four years ago he started
Anglotopia which has become the largest website dedicated to Anglophiles and all things Great Britain. This week I got a very brief chance to fire some quick questions at Jonathan for the new BT travel chat column.

Dorset is my England drug of choice. I love nothing more than ambling through the hills of Dorset around Shaftesbury.

I’m in no hurry to go back to the East End of London.

Flying British Airways First Class last summer. It was heaven.
.
If you could travel to anywhere in Britain right now, where would it be?
Somewhere I haven’t been before. Maybe Yorkshire or the Lake District. Really I’d give anything just to be there. I’m happy to come to the airport and leave!
.
If you could live anywehere in Britain, where would it be and why?
Shaftesbury, Dorset as it’s my favorite place on Earth.
.
Lake District

What would be your one piece of advice for people travelling to Blighty?
We may share the same language but British culture is completely different than here in America. Things are very different. You would do well to read a few books about British culture.
