For starters you can use any service for transfers from Barcelona airport in order to reach the city easily by taxi. Once there you have so many options you won’t know where to start, so we suggest starting by visiting some of the most iconic places in all of Barcelona. Here are our suggestions:

The Sagrada Familia

Meaning “Sacred family” in catalan, this enormous cathedral was initially designed by famous spanish architect Antoni Gaudí. The most peculiar thing about this cathedral is the fact that it is not even finished! There are 18 towers in total planned for the cathedral, but there are only 8 already built. The cathedral is being financially maintained thanks only to donations, so it is expected that it will not be finished for a pretty long time.

The Tibidabo

The nearest mountain from Barcelona is the Collserola Sierra, one of the greenest places near the main city. It is here that we find the Tibidabo mount, the highest one in all the zone, famous mainly due to the fact that we can find an amusement park on top of it, as well as a christian temple called the Templo del Sagrado Corazón (Temple of the Sacred Heart).

The amusement park is the perfect plan if you’re travelling with kids, since it has plenty of cool attractions, as well as the famous red Barcelona plane, a giant plane that rotates around the mountain, from which you can see the city from a bird’s eye.

Also, if you love wild areas and mountain routes you can find plenty all around in Collserola, so it becomes a perfect place to spend all day.

The Camp Nou

Football is the main sport in all Spain, pretty much like in the UK. The F.C. Barcelona is one of the best teams in the world, so if you’re a fan of the sport you need to visit their stadium, the Camp Nou. Being one of the biggest stadiums in all of Europe, the Camp Nou is also regarded as the one with highest capacity in the continent. The visit is also very interesting, given the fact that you will be taken to the main field, so you can feel like a pro football player, and you’ll also visit the F.C. Barcelona Museum, where you will hear from a guide all about the history of the club, their victories, their players and legends, etc.
